Jane

Jane’s love for dance began at her mother’s dance school, where she grew up surrounded by music, movement, and inspiration, and she is forever grateful to her mum for sparking that lifelong passion. Jane went on to study at Preston Dance College in England, earning her Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education in Modern and Tap, and her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance. During her training, she discovered a passion for commercial jazz and was selected to perform in BBC Children in Need, dancing for contestants from The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

After graduating, Jane was offered a job in Hong Kong to teach Modern and Tap to students aged 3–18. She choreographed for performances, helped design costumes, and achieved a 100% high pass rate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) Tap and Modern exams.

In 2019, Jane moved to Whistler, Canada, where she began teaching ballet at the local community centre bringing dance opportunities back to the community. Jane founded her own dance school in 2022, offering a variety of styles and providing students the chance to perform, take exams, and most importantly, discover the joy of dance in a welcoming and supportive environment.
